What is the difference between a full cord and a face cord?

A full cord is a legal volume of 128 cubic feet of tightly ranked firewood (4 ft x 4 ft x 8 ft). A face cord is one single tier of 16-inch logs (42.6 cubic feet). Exactly three face cords equal one full cord.

How does Timber guarantee firewood moisture standards?

All seasoned firewood on Timber must test below 20% moisture at the newly split heartwood core. Kiln-dried firewood tests below 15% moisture for instant ignition and clean burning.

Where does the driver unload my firewood?

Deliveries are dropped on accessible driveways, gravel pads, or unloading zones. Optional stacking service can be selected to have the wood stacked directly into your log rack.

How do payments work on Timber?

Stripe places a pre-authorization hold on your card when ordering. Funds are not captured until the delivery driver drops the firewood and the order is confirmed.

What is your delivery fee structure?

Our base delivery fee of $50 includes the first 5 miles for each bulk product. If your location is within 5 miles of the local provider's facility, no extra charges apply. For distances beyond 5 miles, an additional fee of $9 is charged per mile. Platform delivery is limited to a 50-mile radius. We do not charge differently based on the size of the truck making the delivery.
